June 4, B.E.2493 A.D.1949 is the date that colonial France transferred [illegally] Khmer land called Kampuchea Krom to colonial Vietnam to continue colonizing her until today.

Khmer Krom in Kampuchea under the leadership of KKC have been organizing this important event known as the Annual Kampuchea Krom Loss Commemoration since the new Millennium.

This year is the 68th Annual Kampuchea Krom Loss Commemoration (June 4, 2493/1949 - June 4, 2561/2017). Also this year Khmer Krom are forced to observe on June 24 due to June 4 occupied by the local elections.
