An unluckily Chinese scammer was snagged by police while attempting to join his already-absconded alleged accomplices in China for the Lunar New Year celebrations next month.
The man, a purported internet swindler, was detained at the Siem Reap airport yesterday while trying to board a flight, with police claiming the other 24 fraudsters had already left town.
The unlucky loner was brought back to Phnom Penh as police prepare to investigate further.
